Biography
Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Head Of The Department Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Medicsi.
I graduated from Army Medical College in 2001. I did my training in OBS/GYN at Fauji Foundation Hospital and Shifa International Hospital. Since the completion of my post-graduation in 2010, I have been working in Medicsi, initially as a Registrar and then as a consultant. I have known every change and development that this place went through and I am proud to be part of most of them.
Being a tertiary care hospital and having managed numerous high-risk cases in obstetrics, I have developed a deep interest in the physiology of pregnancy and the management of cases where it turns into pathology. I take a keen interest in cases of small for gestational age babies, intrauterine growth retardation, pregnancies with medical disorders, etc. Gynaecology as a speciality has transformed over the last two decades and the progress in the speciality continues to reshape the lives of women. We keep up with the progress in the speciality for the welfare of our women.
Presented a paper on the study done on the comparison of postoperative outcomes between vaginal and abdominal Hysterectomy in the 12th Biennial conference of SOGP Rawalpindi/Islamabad chapter, August 2008. At PC Bhurban.
