Biography
After graduating from Rawalpindi Medical College, I completed my postgraduate DCH training from Children Hospital Islamabad. I initially worked as a Paediatric Registrar in Medicsi before moving to the UK to pursue my postgraduate training. I worked in the UK for 11 years, in which I completed my specialist training in Paediatrics and Neonatology.
I am certified by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child health, London and holds Certificate of completion of training (CCT) from the General Medical Council, UK. I am on the Specialist Register for Paediatrics and Neonatology with GMC.
During my training I worked in some of the leading hospitals of UK;
- St Mary’s hospital
- Luton & Dunstable University Hospital
- Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital
- Cambridge University Hospital
I have completed Royal College of Paediatrics and Child health special Interest training in Neonatal Intensive care. During my rotation I have done Neonatal transport which involves transferring premature and very sick babies from district general hospitals to tertiary care hospitals.
Following that, I worked in the Paediatric Intensive care unit of Cambridge University hospital before completing his training. I have comprehensive knowledge of all Paediatric specialities and have developed special interests in Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive care.
I have devoted nearly two decades of my life working in Paediatrics.
